About

The Pieced Together Project

The Pieced Together Project is a collaboration between general education and special education programs. P255Q at 168/ PEC is a middle school that specializes in helping students with autism achieve independence. The Queens School of Inquiry is a 6-12 grade early college school that encourages innovation. We are piecing together two different identities, the autism program at P255Q at 168/ PEC and the QSI high school, for a single mission. We are using the process of making bracelets to connect and learn from each other. Our goal is to fulfill our mission by bridging social awareness, creating meaningful connections, and providing opportunities for collaboration all while having fun.
