  1. Security Deposit for Selected Clients: Selected clients are eligible to provide a security deposit, which covers a portion of the hired equipment's value, instead of the standard full-value insurance policy. This deposit reflects our mutual trust and understanding in handling the equipment.

  2. Responsibility for Damages: In case of damage to the hired equipment, you are responsible for covering the remaining cost beyond the security deposit to fully compensate for the replacement fee. Additionally, any delays in reimbursement for damages may incur continuing hire charges until full payment is made.

  3. International Use Protocol:

    • If you plan to use the equipment outside the UK, it is mandatory to inform Luminarix in advance.
    • For international use, the security deposit is not applicable. Instead, you must secure a traditional insurance policy that covers the full value of the equipment throughout its usage abroad. This policy must meet our standard requirements and comply with both UK and international regulations, including listing Luminarix as the "Loss Payee."
  4. Matching Information and Compliance: The details for the security deposit or insurance policy must align with the name and address with the person who pickup the kit, to confirm the identity.

  5. Unattended Vehicle Clause: Despite the financial security provided by the deposit, we emphasise the importance of diligent care for the equipment, particularly in scenarios involving unattended vehicles.
