Dear Sir or Madam:
My name is Elysse Michelle Terrett and I am honored to be a participant in the Les Soeurs Charmantes Social and Civic Club 50th Annual Debutante Ball and annual scholarship competition. I am competing for the coveted title of Miss Debutante 2023. I am the daughter of Mr. Andre’ and Mrs. Toni Walker Terrett. My grandparents are Mr. Ernest and Mrs. Martha Walker, Mrs. Theresa Terrett-Gullet and Mr. Sherwin Terrett. As a bearer of this letter, I have been authorized to solicit ads and patrons by Les Soeurs Charmantes for the souvenir booklet. The Debutante Ball will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at the Vicksburg City Auditorium.
I am a senior at Warren Central High School where I play the trombone in the Big Blue Marching Band and am a member of the Chik-fil-A Leadership Academy. I am a member of the Delta GEMS with the Vicksburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and attend Mt. Alban Baptist Church.
As a candidate, I am asking for your support through the purchase of an ad in this year’s souvenir booklet. The top three winners will receive half of the funds they raise as a cash scholarship. If I place, I plan to use the winnings to further my education at the Alcorn State University School of Nursing.
Ads and money should be returned to me no later than Sunday, November 27, 2022. Any ads and money turned in after the deadline will not contribute towards the competition for Miss Debutante and cash scholarships.
