DESCRIPTION: These scholars study the master of human nature as we create the most engaging experience so his works come to life. Together they will learn to apply the content to their lives–to help them see that the plays are relevant to many things they struggle with: jealousy, friendships, and…yes…love.

Actors training adds energy to our weekly time together complete with silliness enough for everyone!

The students are inspired to read, watch, or listen to 17 Shakespeare plays by being part of a race to be crowned a King or a Queen.

  • leadership qualities

  • study of human nature

  • beauty of language

  • scholar skills of Reading, Writing, Speaking, Persuading, etc…

  • increased vocabulary and wit

  • study of Elizabethan history and culture….to name a few!

Core: Shakespeare Conquest
$70.00

Description: Experience a new birth of freedom through this project and the study of the men and women of the time.

Extend the foundation of freedom created in Key of Liberty. Students enter a semester-long simulation pitting the North against the South as they learn to navigate difficult issues such as states rights vs. federal control, constitutionality of cessation, and slavery. In a crucial time in our nation’s history, human nature is explored in a war that resulted in brother fighting against brother in a conflict where both sides believed they were doing God’s will. The Civil War has never been more engaging as the students work towards earning a replica sword like those carried by the Union and Confederate soldiers.  It includes simulations, great classic books, presentations, and more!

A few principles taught are:

  • purpose of government

  • personal and family choices

  • hardship

  • how to survive during difficult times
