Using This Catalog
WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING ADVANCE ORDERS
Advance Ordering
There is a $5 processing fee on each advance order. We do this because a significant amount of work is involved pulling orders. This fee is added automatically to your total.
To make filling orders easier, orders must be in multiples of half a flat (9 plants). You can order 9, 18, 27, 36 etc. plants. This does not mean you need to order 9 of each variety you want, only that the total number of plants ordered needs to be a multiple of 9.
Advance orders must be placed online directly from the catalog.
We will accept up to 100 advance orders. Once we reach 100 orders, we will close down the ability to place orders but you can still use the catalog as a resource for what will be offered.
Pick up your order on Saturday May 11th between 10am and 12 noon at Dawn Farm, 6633 Stony Creek Road in Ypsilanti, 48197. This is the only day and time orders may be picked up. If you cannot pick up your order by noon, please do not place an advance order!
Shopping the Sale
Plants are arranged in the same order as the catalog.
To facilitate you shopping, we recommend that you print this shopping list and mark it with the items you want.
Crowding Last year we ended COVID restrictions and did not limit the number of people allowed in the hoophouse at the same time. The result was the hoophouse got unpleasantly crowded with shoppers. This year we will again limit the number of people allowed inside at one time as we did in 2020-2022. This should make the sale less hectic than last year.
New, Discontinued and Replaced Items

SOLD OUT
The following items are sold out for 2024:
Determinate vs Indeterminate Tomatoes
Determinate tomatoes are varieties that grow to a fixed mature size and ripen all their fruit in a short period (usually about two weeks). Once this first flush of fruit has ripened, the plant will begin to diminish in vigor and will set little to no new fruit.
Indeterminate tomato varieties also continue to set and ripen fruit throughout the growing season until frost kills the plants. They will give you a slow and steady supply of tomatoes, rather than one large harvest.
Most of the varieties we sell are indeterminate unless stated otherwise.
