OWD Haitian Meal Pickup

Every other week, we're going to offer a homecooked Haitian meal pickup to benefit a refugee family in the 'hood.

This week's menu includes some new options, including tassot boeuf and boulet.

Haitian Tassot and Rice $15.00

This meal includes:

- Tassot boeuf (grilled beef)

- White rice with black bean sauce OR rice and beans

- Fried plantains (thick slices of savory plantains)

- Pikliz (a vinegary Haitian slaw – with a kick!)

Haitian Legume and Rice (vegan, but can be made with meat) $13.00

This meal includes:

- Haitian legume (a thick vegetable stew with eggplant, cabbage, chayote squash, carrot, and spinach)

- White rice with black bean sauce OR rice and beans [please specify]

- Fried plantains (thick slices of savory plantains)

- Pikliz (a vinegary Haitian slaw – with a kick!)

Haitian Chicken and Rice $15.00

This meal includes:

- Roast chicken

- White rice with black bean sauce OR rice and beans

- Fried plantains (thick slices of savory plantains)

- Pikliz (a vinegary Haitian slaw – with a kick!)

Extra Pikliz $2.50

Vinegary slaw – with a kick! Jazzes up virtually everything.

Haitian Boulet $6.00
